To The One Who's Been Seeking Me To give you a sample of my mind, below is a story I wrote.

Winter:
The cold wind snaps along the surface of the street, whipping up loose paper and card board cups, sending them hurling beside our feet. You laugh and press yourself against me, the cold is trying to take you away too. Your hands find purchase in the back pockets of my coat and we stand huddled and alone in the crowd of people making their way by. Your face is the fixation of my world and your eyes are the depths to which my soul finds it's own purchase.

"Hey, you two want a ride?" A man behind us asks. It's a taxi driver, his unshaven face says that business this time of year has been tough.

We step in, you slide all the way to end. You watch me with your sweet unprotected eyes as if for any moment now the wind blowing outside could grow real arms and actually snatch me away forever. I smile back, I've never felt such adoring eyes before...I want to make you feel the same. I am sure you already know, I am blushing and it's not from the cold

"Where to?" The taxi driver asks, sounding a little awed himself with you. I can't blame him, I got lucky...

I am about to speak when you touch my hand with yours and say, "Anywhere, just drive"

I thought the taxi driver might detest and say something rude but he doesn't....instead we begin to glide down the street. Again, I am shocked not just by the fierceness of your beauty and that damned glowing smile on your face but how your words that you speak seem to have the power to move the world

The lights outside are fireflies flickering past. The wind is a quite and brooding. The people we pass look like frozen paintings of statues, each body kept still. Your fingers are soft and warm, and they curl around my hand. I want so badly to tell you how special you are to me, but I am afraid. I've been hurt so many times before... I'm too scared to give in entirely to you. If only you would-

"I'm yours, forever and never less" you speak with your lips pressed against my ear. It doesn't tickle and the words spoken seem to translate from meaning into raw energy, coursing a straight path I assumed was recondited to the solid steel door locking my heart inside. The door doesn't explode into a thousands pieces but melts away into a vapor that quickly dissapates.

A tear falls down my face... you kiss it and whisper, "Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. Those who wish to sing always find a song."
