I love learning about other languages, countries and cultures in general, and have had the travel bug for some time now. Music is a big part of my life - I can't imagine a day without some playing, whether on my laptop speakers at home, on my speakers at work, or in my head. I love all genres out there, from country to classical, but lately my favorites have been in the alternativerockindie categories. Some favorite bands include: Silversun Pickups, Muse, The Avett Brothers, Incubus, Passion Pit, Bon Iver, The Hold Steady, Relient K, Kings of Leon, Oldies in general, The All-American Rejects, Bright Eyes, The Eagles, Born Ruffians, The White Stripes, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Manchester Orchestra, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, Arcade Fire, MGMT, Lucky Boys Confusion, Metric, Death Cab For Cutie, Modest Mouse, Phoenix.shit, the list can go on and on! 3. I do not smoke - never have and never will - and I've never done either. (I'd prefer if you didn't either) I drink on occasion with friends at my apartment or out on the town - I love wine, although I do have a soft spot for Blue Moon & Leinies.mmm! I love to cook & bake, and I'm constantly trying new recipes! P.S. I am not a picky eater. 4. If I had to name my "addictions" in life, I'd have to say that in addition to good music & food, I love good books & movies, of all genres. It's definitely a plus to live across from a library! Fiction books are a favorite though, and I'm admittedly a fan of the Harry Potter Series. We all have a little dork in us, don't we? ;-) I have a large movie collection, as well as TV DVD series including Dexter, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Flight of the Conchords & The Office. Also a fan of Heroes & House. I don't watch much TV, but when I do I watch GOOD TV. :-) 5. I'm a very active person, and hope you are too! I played volleyball all through college, and still try to play when I can. When I'm not playing recreational sports, I'm running or walking around the neighborhood, lifting, doing coreab exercises, doing tae bo - whatever I'm in the mood to do that keeps me active! What am I looking for? Well, definitely someone interesting to talk to and get to know, for starters; a good conversationalist that doesn't speak in all "lol's" and "ic's" all the time. Someone who's honest, cares about & is interested in others, and has a good, sarcastic sense of humor - you gotta be able to take it as much as you dish it though! :-D Also, someone on the tall side, who's active as well, whether it's going to the gym, jogging, or playing sports. Hopefully you're someone who's just as comfortable going out to a bar, movie or restaurant as he is staying home in pjs to cook, play cards or watch movies. Euchre and cribbage fans are a plus! Rock Band too - I call the drums! Finally, someone who has a passion in life or has some great life goals. Nothing's a turn off more than someone who has no ambition or motivation.
