New, Informal Young Women's Support Group! w4w Hi and thanks for reading!
Please read the whole way through before making a decision on your participation herein.

We are starting a women's support group, for the ages 18-35, approximately. (Please don't feel excluded if you are outside of those ages; it's just a range, as we are 29 and 30 years old.)
We are friends of several years and both have children.
Please know up front that we are Christian-based, and believe that Jesus is the only way to peace!
(We recently started going back to church. For us, it has made a world of difference in coping.)

HOWEVER, we are by NO means judgemental and understand that people come from all walks of life, and are at different stages of their lives!
We also understand that Jesus and spirituality are not accepted by everyone!
But that doesn't mean that anyone should feel excluded or as if we're here to preach at you or anything.

We are just "normal" girls, and have the same struggles as anyone else.
We aim to help others through emotional and life issues, by offering- if nothing else- an ear to listen, a shoulder on which to cry, or simply an outlet from the stresses of life.

We do not intend to preach or discuss the church or religion in our every conversation. But we have to mention that we are trying to live our lives in a more wholesome way.

We come from broken families, disappointments, financial troubles, lives with partying, trying to raise kids, etc.
We're just like anyone else!

We'd like to start meeting monthly, or maybe bi-weekly....We're just going to "feel it out", I think.
We understand that people have children, just as we do, so we were thinking that we could meet up at a park, perhaps.
Also, we wouldn't have to spend hours trying to clean the house ahead of time! :)
But we can sometimes spend time exercising, or go to a coffee shop, a walk, grill at the park, etc. Bring your ideas with you!

If you feel that having some other girls around would be helpful to you in any way, or that you would want to be helpful and give back to others in some way, then let's give it a shot!

We're simply hoping to help others.
This is to be very relaxed, laid-back, and informal- maybe even fun!
We recently moved in with one another to offer each other support, and it's a lot easier to deal with life when someone else is there by your side.
