Where are you? Seriously. I'm tired of making out with you in my dreams. Don't get me wrong. It's not to say it's not nice! I don't mind waking up with a slight smile on my face, clutching my balled-up sheet like it's a person. But, the sheet lacks warmth. It lacks the rise and the fall of sweet, soft skin as you lay beside me, breathing softly, sleeping soundly. Not to mention the fact that I always seem to wake up right at the good parts! No worries. This is only a dream deficiency. I'm not going to bail right at the climax in real life!

Anyway, I will admit that we move a little too fast in my dream. One minute I'm working at the restaurant, or back in high school sitting in the cafeteria with friends, or I'm backstage at some play, or in some other inexplicable dream location and the next minute, you're there. And we're somewhere else. We're laughing together and flirting. Our hands touch and I feel the electric shocks. I look into your eyes and I see someone who know me, someone who gets me. And then there are your lips. Sweet and soft and even more full of electricity than your hands. We share kisses. Not pornographic kisses, no. First kisses. Innocent kisses. The type of kisses that causes you to smile. The kind that are all lip, maybe just a little tongue. The kind of kisses that speak the words that you could never actually voice.
