White guy and a black womans hair I'm re-posting this because I have had so many people comment and tell me I should post it again so here it goes. I have always dated all of women, no prejudices here but this is a very true story of my first black girlfriend and how I got to know about black women's hair. I know this is not all black women, just my one experience with this beautiful woman named Pebbles. Well it goes way back to my first black gf in 1996, when a very traumatic experience occurred. I was at a local bar when I saw her from across the room, she was tall, sexy, big brown eyes, flowing hair, long legs and wearing a red dress split all the way up her leg. She was so hypnotizing, sexy. I was intently watching her from across the room when suddenly our eyes met and sparks flew. At that time, I was playing pool with guys, she was backing it up on some guy and when she was alone I made my move. I smoothly walked over and said hello, she said hello, I said, you have beautiful hair, she said thank you. Can I buy you a drink? She said sure, give me a and I said ! Yes, love at first sight I must say, so that was the beginning of us falling in love. Over the next few weeks we hung out every day together, we went to the clubs together, did a little bedroom roll play together (one of my favorites was when I was the master and she was the slave, strangers at the bar), played sports together, she hung with me and my friends, I hung with her and her friends (until one of her friends gave me the eye and then it turned into a Springer episode). We went to the beach, made out in restaurants, played dominoes together where the loser had to pay up. She met my mom (she said "oh god'), I met her mom ( she said "thank god") lol. Everything was clicking along then she said " we should move in together", I said OK. what could be wrong with that? Can you guess what happen? So we started living together and that's when I found out about black women. Some things I just could never understand was, she could not keep quite during a movie, she would always talk to the TV and I wondered, does she know they cant hear her? Leave her clothes everywhere, always wearing the hoochie dresses, always sucking her , only thing she knew how to cook was fried food, left her fake nails everywhere, always talking about what other girls wore and how slutty they looked, and she had plenty to about me, why I couldn't do anything right. BUT then the bomb shell hit! Oh yes, all that paled into comparison for what was coming. I came home one day and she was in the shower so I headed to the bedroom and looked at the bed and saw the biggest tarantula ever! So I ran out of the house and got a shovel, I was gonna that huge spider before it bit me or her, I raised the shovel and was about to that evil spawn of , when Pebbles asked "what the hell are you doing"? I said "I'm about to that damn spider" and that's when she said " you mess up my hair and you better have 79 dollars because that's how much it cost". I didn't understand and as I lowered the shovel she walked over and picked up the evil creature. Right then is when she took the towel off her head and to my her hair had fallen out. Why her hair was shorter than mine. Did the spider bite her, causing her hair fall out? I was worried and concerned why my girlfriend was picking up a spider after her hair had fallen out. As she laid the hairy creature down on the bathroom vanity, I looked closer and noticed it wasn't a spider at all, it was hair, bunches and bunches of hair. My god why is her hair falling out? And so fast, I just saw her this morning and she had all her hair. She must be really sick if her hair fell out so fast. So I walked over and put my hand on her shoulder and told her that I would be there every step of the way and that we will this thing together, take it head on. She looked at me with the same scary look as the week before when I took the last chicken wing off her plate because I thought she was finished eating. Yep that was a big no no. She said " WHAT THE HELL'S WRONG WITH YOU, ARE YOU STUPID"? I thought that was an reaction from a sick women. That's when she said I need your help and I said sure honey, whatever it is I'm here for you. (I began to wonder if what she had was contagious.) That's when she handed me a comb and this little white bottle of glue and said I need you to use the comb to part my hair, put some glue down, make sure its on my not my hair and then stick this hair to my . I thought oh my god shes delusional, shes in shock, shes trying to super glue her hair back on after it fell out, this is really serious. I said honey let me take you to a doctor and we will find out why your hair is falling out. She yelled "my hair isn't falling out dumb ass", I have always had short hair and I buy these tracks and glue them in. That's when it hit me, 79 dollars, scratching her constantly, tapping her head all day, never wanted me to touch her hair, slept in the same all night long and never turning over, OH Shit! I started shaking, sweating, I dropped the glue and comb. Should I run, should I , should I fight? and shaking I clinched my fist and said "are you a "? She said what the hell are you talking about? I said fake hair, nails, eye lashes, come on tell me the truth! That's when she laughed, sat me on the bed and explained the trials and tribulations of black women's hair. I'm happy to say after many years of and getting tested for leprosy, I'm past all that now and I came away with a different point of view. To be fair to Pebbles, I was her Bam Bam for two years and she was a good person, had a good heart, beautiful, smart and I found out she knew how to cook many other things.
